৭ ই সেপ্টেম্বর অর্থাৎ কাল রবিবার অনুষ্ঠিত হতে চলেছে বিশ্বের দীর্ঘতম সাঁতার প্রতিযোগিতা| সেই উপলক্ষে আজ রঘুনাথগঞ্জের সদরঘাটে একটি অনুষ্ঠানের আয়নজন করে মুর্শিদাবাদ সন্তরণ সংস্থা| মুর্শিদাবাদ সন্তরণ সংস্থার উদ্যোগে অহিরণ গঙ্গা ঘাট থেকে জঙ্গিপুর হয়ে বহরমপুর পর্যন্ত ৮১ কিলোমিটার ও ১৯ কিলোমিটার এই প্রযোগিতায় মোট ৫৭ জন প্রতিযোগী এবার অংশগ্রহণ করবেন|
